Garden Services
Garden Services on Pause for 2023
Are you interested in growing food, flowers or medicinal herbs? Do you and your neighbors want to re-imagine the land between your yards? Are you a part of a community or neighborhood group that wants to establish vibrant green gardens for public gathering, food, medicine, tranquility?
Together, we can cultivate spaces to grow fresh food and establish habitat for nature to thrive—we can feed ourselves and pollinators, too!
Wild Heart uses ecological design that works with nature; balancing human needs with regenerating the environment. Through this process, Wild Heart will help assess what elements will be most functional for your environment and needs, develop a design and plan for transforming the area and will work collaboratively with you to make your green dreams into reality!
In addition, Wild Heart works to educate and organize neighbors so blooming gardens and fresh local food are made more accessible and inclusive to all communities. This will build connections between each individual project, neighborhood and community and shift our responsibility back to being stewards of the land—rather than passive inhabitants who consume and extract more than our fair share. We can alter the ecosystem of our city when we have a closer connection to the land.
Wild Heart offers garden services in South Minneapolis. Hand tools are used along with local sustainable materials as much as possible. Wild Heart is creative and resourceful on how to use and reuse supplies so the impact on the earth is light (as well as your budget!). When possible, Wild Heart travels by a bicycle and a long-bed trailer. Collaboration is the goal; let’s bring your dreams into being and organize a few volunteer days so we build community while we do the work. Each project is unique, so Wild Heart can make anything work!
