Hands-on Learning
Do you have a group of youth who want to learn about the environment? Are you looking for a facilitator for a group process or to offer a series of hands-on learning experiences? Are you interested in more intergenerational learning?
Wild Heart can be hired for education and facilitation work, focusing on environmental education through hands-on learning.
Wild Heart can come to the table and co-create a lesson with you or bring a curriculum that meets your needs. Drawing from my experiences of facilitating learning, leading group processes, teaching workshops and skillshares and collaborating on community building, I can offer a series of workshops or lessons, a one-time facilitation or foster an ongoing organic collaborative relationship with you and your community and let the process unfold with time.
Wild Heart is most interested in work that makes space for healing and transformation, work that moves us through conflict into greater understanding of our shared relationship to each other and to this earth. It focuses on creating learning spaces that inspire the wonder and joy of being connected back to the land. Previous work has been with schools, community organizations and nonprofits, adults and youth of all ages, artists, neighbors and organizers. Wild Heart can help hold a container for the learning to happen and step aside so the conversation that needs to move through has space to emerge.

I notice how Alisa consistently creates spaces for others to rise as leaders, always sharing power, always helping people identify and move into their own power and leadership. She is also good at learning along the way - getting things moving while making sure to reflect and identify what needs to be better next time. She has a really accurate and experienced perspective and strengthens projects when she is able to share it.”
